Proposal to introduce requirements for the post-crash safety of hydrogen-fuelled vehicles based on the Amendment 1 to UN GTR No. 13 (Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Vehicles).
44. As per paragraphs 23, 25, 38 and 40, the expert from OICA introduced GRSP-73-31 (superseding ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2023/21) to incorporate provisions on hydrogen-fuelled vehicles into UN Regulation No. 153. GRSP adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2023/21 as amended by annex XII to the session report. The secretariat was requested to submit the proposal as draft Supplement 4 to the Original Version of UN Regulation No. 153, for consideration and vote at the November 2023 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1.
