33. The expert from the Netherlands presented ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRVA/2023/8, a proposal for amendments to UN Regulation No. 157, aiming to align the reference to UN Regulation No. 10 (EMC) with the text adopted in other regulations, as per the guidelines in ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1144/Rev.3. 34. The expert from France supported the proposal. He proposed to clarify the testing conditions (see GRVA-16-37), with and without Automated Lane Keeping System being activated during testing. The expert from OICA offered to provide clarifications to the proposal at the next session. 35. GRVA adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRVA/2023/8, as amended by GRVA-16-42, and requested the secretariat to submit it as a supplement to the original version and to the 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 157 (Automated Lane Keeping System) to WP.29 and AC.1 for consideration and vote at their November 2023 sessions. 36. GRVA requested the secretariat to distribute GRVA-16-37 with an official symbol at the next session. 33.
