16. GRSP resumed discussion on a proposal (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2022/13) tabled by the expert from France on clarifying the assessment of the connection of the Safety-Belt Reminder (SBR) system in the case of removable seats. GRSP also noted a presentation (GRSP-72-23) to introduce a proposal for a new series of amendments (GRSP-72-22). The expert from France explained that the proposal would clarify the requirements for SBR systems on test procedure (first- and second-level warning), visual warning and requirements for SBR in the rear seat row(s). 17. GRSP agreed to resume discussion at its May 2023 session on a revised document combining GRSP-72-22 and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2022/13, as a new series of amendments. GRSP requested its experts to provide feedback on GRSP-72-22 and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2022/13 to the expert from France before the deadline for submission of official documents for the May 2023 session. |
