12. The expert from IWG SLR introduced a proposal for a new series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 149 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2021/14, GRE-85-04 and GRE-85-14). The expert from IEC proposed updating the references to standard IEC 60809 (GRE-85-09). GRE adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRE/2021/14, as amended by GRE-85-09 and GRE-85-14, and requested the secretariat to submit it for consideration and vote at the June 2022 sessions of WP.29 and AC.1 as draft 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 149. 13. For reasons mentioned at the previous session (GRE-84-28), the expert from Poland was not in a position to support the IWG SLR proposal. GRE also recalled the alternative transitional provision in GRE-85-30 and requested IWG SLR to consider it and to report back to GRE at its next session in April 2022 (see paragraph 10 above). |
