The expert from OICA introduced informal document GRSG-122-13 amending ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2021/25, Proposal for supplement 1 to the original version of UN Regulation No. 162 on uniform technical prescription concerning approval of immobilizers and approval of a vehicle with regard to its immobilizer. She also presented document ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2021/29, a proposal for amendments to UN Regulation No. 162.

82. GRSG adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2021/25 as amended by GRSG-122-13 with an in-session removal of the square brackets and document ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2021/29 requested their submission to WP.29 and AC.1 for voting at their March 2022 sessions.

With 39 of the 56 Contracting Parties applying UN R162 present and voting, AC.1 adopted document WP.29/2022/30 by a vote of 37 in favor, 0 opposed, with 2 abstaining.
