The representative of the Russian Federation, on behalf of the Chair of the IWG on Tyre GTR, recalled the activities on Amendment 2 to UN GTR No. 16 (Tyres) and the results of the meeting held in Ottawa, Canada, in June 2018 on the high-speed test, the amendments reflecting Chinese and Indian proposals, and the feasibility study for the introduction of the global tyre marking. He informed AC.3 that the next meeting of the IWG was scheduled to take place in September 2018 in Brussels, Belgium.
