Vehicle alarm systems: Proposal for a new UN Regulation

Proposal to create a new UN Regulation on uniform provisions concerning the approval of a vehicle alarm system and approval of a vehicle with regard to its vehicle alarm system, pursuant to splitting the UN R116 into three separate regulations.
This proposal (WP.29/2021/50) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-nine Contracting Parties to the 1958 Agreement were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-eight voted in favor with zero against and one abstaining.
