Proposal from the Russian Federation to provide harmonized definitions for the terms “noise” and “sound” and also for a revised structure for introducing the provisions.

Text prepared by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to update UN R41 with the latest amendment of ISO 5130:2012.

The proposal corrects the typing error of the decibel unit dB(A) (corrected from db(A)) and deletes the unnecessary unit. In Annex 4, revises the current list as an itemized list for greater clarity.
