Proposal to transpose the electrical safety requirements of GTR 20 into UN R100 and align administrative provisions with Revision 3 of the 1958 Agreement. The proposal provides for a 2-3 year transitional period. The proposal also integrates the amendments to UN R100 provided in document GRSP/2019/17.

Proposal to clarify that the warning signal to alert a driver of an M2 or M3 vehicle with more than 22 seating positions if the vehicle is in active-driving-possible mode when the driver leaves the seat shall be activated upon leaving the seat, not the vehicle.
