Revised proposal from GRE (for the March 2019 WP.29 session) to introduce transitional provisions for the phasing out of UN R98 in conjunction with the introduction of the new UN Regulation on Road Illumination Devices (RID).
This proposal (WP.29/2018/114/Rev.1) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-six Contracting Parties out of the 47 applying UN R98 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-six voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
