Proposal for Supplement 7 to the 06 series of amendments to Regulation No. 14 and for Supplement 6 to the 06 series of amendments to Regulation No. 16 to clarify the texts related to the recently expanded height requirements for the effective upper belt anchorage (Supplement 4 to the 07 series of amendments to Regulation No. 14).

Proposal to modify the reference to Annex 14 on simplified test methods to refer to “the use of a reference chest speed measured at 300 mm forward displacement carried out in a test”.

Proposal to introduce a definition for “bucket seat” ( front passenger seat having a non-adjustable seat back) which would be exempt from the ISOFIX anchorage requirements. The proposal also exempts certain vehicle/seating configurations from ISOFIX requirements, addressing cases where the vehicle design and purpose mitigate against the use of such child restraints and ISOFIX systems.
