GRE may wish to consider a proposal that was tabled by the experts from GTB with the aim to clarify the voltage requirements for LEDs.

GRE will address two sets of proposals by the experts from the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) that restrict the possibility of approving a road illumination device with a manufacturer logo. These proposals are accompanied by draft amendment to UN Regulation No. 149.

GRE is invited to consider draft amendments by the expert from OICA that clarify the requirements for the activation of direction-indicator lamps, to ensure compatibility with automated systems as permitted under UN Regulation No. 171.

GRE will be informed about progress in updating the amendment proposals on work lamps tabled by the expert from France at the previous session.

GRE may wish to revert to the perceived blueish colour of the white light emitted by front lighting units, as reported by the expert from France. In particular, GRE may be informed about considerations of the GTB Group Photometry on this topic.
