UN R141: Proposal for Supplement 1 to the 01 series of amendments

Proposal to introduce an alternative procedure for type approval of trailers (vehicles of categories O3 and O4) regarding their Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Tyre Pressure Refilling System (TPRS) and Central Tyre Inflation System (CTIS) and to align UN R141 with the transitional provisions of European Union (EU) Regulation 2019/2144.
This proposal (WP.29/2022/9) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-nine Contracting Parties out of the 56 applying UN R141 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-seven voted in favor with zero against and two abstaining.
