• Preconditioning requirement (Annex 9, determination of electric range) and UN R83 (Annex 14, provisions for emissions test procedures for HEV).

In line with UN R48 and its 08 series of amendments which would permit switching off of rear position and other lamps when ambient light conditions are above 7,000 lux to avoid unnecessary fuel consumption, this proposal would permit ambient lighting during dynamometer operation above this threshold.
