Proposal to insert new paras. 0., 0.1., 0.1.1., and 0.1.2. addressing introduction of Supplement 6 to extend application to vehicles of category X and Y1 and other vehicles with manual mode operating at speeds above 6 km/h equipped with an automated Driving System, amend para. 1.1. footnote 1 to update reference to ECE/TRANS/WP.29/78/Rev.8., amend para. 2.5. to define Device to prevent unauthorized use to include locking of steering, transmission, gearshift control, or brakes with provision regarding brake deactivation, insert new paras. 2.13. and 2.14. defining ADS feature of type 1 and type 2, amend para. 4.4.1. footnote 2 to update reference to ECE/TRANS/WP.29/78/Rev.8., amend Annex 1 para. 1.4. footnote 2 to update reference to ECE/TRANS/WP.29/78/Rev.8., amend Annex 2 para. 1.4. footnote 4 to update reference to ECE/TRANS/WP.29/78/Rev.8., and amend Annex 9 para. 4.3.2. to exclude requirements during remote-control manoeuvring and remote-control parking, for vehicles of categories X and Y, or when ADSF-2 is activated by authorized registered digital key.
