Notes from the 64th session of Working Party 1 on Road Safety related to consistency between the Convention on Road Traffic (1968) and lighting regulations established through WP.29.

Proposed amendments to the Convention on Road Traffic (1968 Vienna Convention) in order to eliminate inconsistencies between the Convention and the vehicle regulations established by WP.29, especially with regard to driver-assist systems and the concept of driver responsibility for vehicle behavior.

Notes on Working Party 1 consideration of WP.29/GRE proposals to update the 1968 Vienna Convention on Road Traffic in line with advances in automated lighting technologies.
