Proposal to introduce new tyres size usually listed in Annex 5 in a new Resolution in order to simply maintenance of this annex and reduce the volume of amendments. This proposal includes changes regarding Improved Flexion (IF) tyres and Very high Flexion (VF) tyres. The proposal harmonizes with EU framework legislation for agricultural vehicles.
This proposal (WP.29/2017/70), as amended by para. 71, was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-five Contracting Parties out of the 48 applying UN R106 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-five voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
