Proposal to remove tyre pressure monitoring systems from UN R64 pursuant to establishing a stand-alone regulation and to facilitate the development of the regulation on international whole vehicle type approvals.
This proposal (WP.29/2016/54) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-four Contracting Parties out of the 40 applying UN R64 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-four voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
This proposal (WP.29/2016/63) was adopted by the World Forum. Forty-one Contracting Parties to the 1958 Agreement were present for the vote by AC.1. Forty-one voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
