Proposal from the Informal Working for a new Resolution on light sources to simplify the content and amendment process for the light-source regulations UN R37, 99 and 128. The data sheets for light sources are moved from Annexes 1 of these Regulations to the draft Resolution. In addition, the draft phases out some filament light source categories (per the earlier document GRE/2015/29), add new LED categories LW3, LY3, LR5, LW5, and LY5 (per document GRE/2015/30), and aligns drawings of category LR4 with drawings of these new categories. These latter items were all approved during the 74th GRE session. |
