The agenda was adopted. In [the pursuant] discussion, the necessity to hold another meeting prior to the next official meeting in December was decided. The NFB offered to host. In a ‘tour de table’ it turned out that at least 7 stakeholders were interested in participating the meeting.

4. | Review of the minutes of the 4th GTRQRTV meeting |
The minutes of the 4th meeting were adopted without any changes. |
5. | Development of draft of specifications and requirements for GTR |
5.1 Performance requirements In order to determine standpoints of the CPs that were present during the meeting, COM had prepared a list of basic performance requirements that shall formulate the technical framework of the GTR. Each of the requirements was briefly discussed. Subsequently, each CP gave its opinion which was noted in the list.

Initial list of technical requirements for low-sound vehicle alerting systems developed during the first session of the task force drafting specific language for the proposed GTR.
5.2 Test procedure ISO gave an update on the development of test protocol SAE J2889-1/ISO 16254. As there are no substantial changes to the procedure, the presentation basically was a repetition of the one from the last meeting.

5.3 Other development of the draft GTR document The Task Force focused on the text that was not discussed during the latest official meeting of the IG GTR for QRTV. In this manner, the text has been commented upon and suggestions with respect to the streamlining of the text have been recorded. The text in the linked document represents its latest status and will be the base for continued discussions during the following meeting.
