The secretary reported on the recent developments related to the Inland Transport Committee (ITC) and informed GRSP about the ongoing informal consultations seeking to explore ways to further streamline and strengthen ITC activities based on Member State priorities and to formulate possible recommendations for consideration by the ITC at its eighty-ninth session in 2027 and, as appropriate, within the broader context of ongoing United Nations reform discussions.
