35. The GRVA Chair reported on the results achieved by GRVA at its twenty-fourth session (see ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRVA/24 for further details).

36. WP.29 welcomed the progress made by GRVA on the drafting of a global regulation on Automated Driving System and of the 02 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 171 (DCAS) and noted the submission of a dozen documents to adapt existing regulations to Automated Driving Systems.

37. WP.29 endorsed the establishment of the IWG on Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS).

38. WP.29 recalled previous discussions regarding the twenty-fifth GRVA and welcomed the organization of the informal part of that session in Montréal, Canada (within the premises of the International Civil Aviation Organization). WP.29 noted the invitation of China for a GRVA session in China in 2027.
