The Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) may agree to consider a brief oral report by the secretariat about the highlights of the March and June 2024 sessions of WP.29 on issues related to GRPE. GRPE may wish to consider a presentation from the secretariat on the newly adopted Inland Transport Committee (ITC) Strategy on Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Inland Transport (the ITC Decarbonization Strategy). GRPE may wish to consider a presentation from the representative of the Global Fuel Economy Initiative (GFEI) to initiation a reflection on how GPRE could contribute to Action 4 of the ITC Decarbonization Strategy.

Following initial review during the 90th session of GRPE, GRPE may wish to reconsider a proposal from the experts of OICA proposing a new supplement to the original and 01 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 154, as a consolidated version. The proposals incorporate corrections, clarifications and improvements to both series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 154 that have already been introduced in the 02 and 03 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 154.

Proposal brings clarity in the text relating to alternative procedures for demonstrating Conformity of Production of evaporative emissions control systems and consistency in the rounding of the Deterioration Factors (DFs).
