132. The representative of Canada reported on the progress made under this agenda item. He recalled the previous work of the IWG on ACPE concerning the development of UN Regulation No. 175 under the 1958 Agreement and its 01 series of amendments, which serve as the foundation for the work on ACPE under the 1998 Agreement. He mentioned the first leadership meeting hosted in Canada and noted the upcoming meetings scheduled for November 2025 (online) and February 2026 in Germany. He announced potential discussions at GRVA for reviewing the mandate and the modus operandi of the group taking into consideration the already heavy workload and the budget constraints.
