Attendance

1. The World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29) held its 195th session from 4-7 March 2025, chaired by Mr. A. Erario (Italy). The following countries were represented, following Rule 1 of the Rules of Procedure of WP.29 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/690/Rev.2): Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Czechia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Morocco Netherlands (Kingdom of), Norway, Poland, Republic of Korea, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America and Zimbabwe. Representatives of the European Union participated. The following international organization was represented: International Standards Organisation (ISO). The following non-governmental organizations were also represented: Association Européenne des véhicules électriques a batteries, hybrides et à Piles à combustible (AVERE), Association for Emissions Control and Climate (AECC), Consumers International (CI), European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA/MEMA/JAPIA) , International Motor Vehicle Inspection Committee (CITA), Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), International Automotive Lighting and Light Signalling Expert Group (GTB), International Motorcycle Manufacturers Association (IMMA), International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA), International Road Transport Union (IRU), Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), European Tyre and Rim Technical Association (ETRTO), Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RIVA) and SAE International. Other non-governmental organizations were represented following Rule 1(d): American Automotive Policy Council (AAPC). Other non-governmental organizations, private sector entities, independent experts and observers were represented: the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Mr. Andries Van Tonder (Chairman IWG on SCUNV). Some 110 participants attended the session in person.
