42. The GRVA Chair reported on the results achieved by GRVA during its twenty-first session (see ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRVA/21 for further details).

43. He informed WP.29 that GRVA would review, in June 2025, provisions regarding new categories for Automated Driving Systems and software updates in amendment proposals to the Special Resolution S.R.1 and the Consolidated Resolution R.E.3. He drew the attention of GRSG to these activities to support coordination.

44. WP.29 welcomed the adoption of technical provisions for steer-by-wire systems, as one important factor supporting the uptake of electrified vehicles.

45. WP.29 welcomed the revisions of the Terms of Reference and Rules of Procedure of IWG on ACPE and IWG on cyber security and software updates.
