Acronyms

GRPE: Working Party on Pollution and Energy (cf French: Groupe de Rapporteurs sur la Pollution et l’Energie)
HEV: Hybrid electric vehicle
NOVC: Not-off-vehicle charging: a system to recharge a hybrid vehicle’s electrochemical energy storage system with electricity from an interal vehicle source.
OVC: Off-vehicle charging: a system to recharge a hybrid vehicle’s electrochemical energy storage system with electricity from an external source (such as the electric utility grid).
PEV: Plug-in electric vehicle
