The regional Levels reflect the current (at the time of adoption) emissions legislation in the EU (Level 1A) and in Japan (Level 1B). The first part of the PMP Brake Protocol for measuring brake particle emissions and addresses items using a new WLTP-Brake Cycle in conjunction with an inertia dynamometer test.
