WP29 to consider the request from Republic of Korea for authorization to develop an amendment to UN GTR 6 (Safety Glazing)

Proposal to introduce provisions for the optional use of laminated-glass panes with improved mechanical properties, particularly for the front, exterior, forward-facing glazing of the upper deck of a double-deck vehicle.

Proposal to exempt Zone I from opaque obscuration requirements of GTR 6 under certain conditions.

Establishment of the Executive Committee (AC.3) of the 1998 Agreement Fifty-sixth session (item 12) – Proposals for amendments to UN GTRs (items 14.2.1. to 14.2.4.)
