As part of the discussions on improving UN R48 to address vehicle glare and headlamp leveling issues, Italy proposes conditions for vehicle loading under the headlamp testing procedures in order to represent more realistic vehicle use. In particular, the current specifications for testing vehicles under maximum load conditions does not represent the most common use case of a driver in an unloaded vehicle. |
