Informal working group sponsored by the EU, Japan, and Korea to develop a global technical regulation to harmonize procedures for the assessment of emissions under normal driving conditions, taking into account the diverse traffic and driving and ambient environments. The Authorization to develop a new UN GTR on Global Real Driving Emissions (word format | pdf format) was adopted by WP.29 during its November 2018 session and subsequently revised during the June 2019 session.
