Updates on inclusion of GRPE Regulations in Regulation 0 (IWVTA): Regulations 85 and 154 currently required for U-IWVTA; Series 09 of Regulation 0 will update R-154 to the 04 series at November 2026 WP-29 session. Questions raised regarding immediate inclusion of Regulations 177, 179, and 180, with Japan noting non-application of R-179 and R-180. IWVTA and DETA workshop held June 2026 in Flensburg, Germany, with growing Asian interest. Discussion of requirement for Level 2 approval to Regulation 154 for universal approval to Regulation 0, while many Contracting Parties require only lesser levels or previous series compliance. Brake particle emissions regulation will require Type Approval information release via TAA.
