Proposal to amend Annex 5, para. 4.1.1. to distinguish between vehicles not utilising and utilising Over-the-Air data transmission of battery durability parameters, insert new paras. 4.1.3. to 4.1.3.2. for Over-the-Air transmission cases, amend para. 4.1.2. to reserve the certificate of compliance requirement, amend para. 4.2. regarding Part B verification by responsible authorities, insert new para. 4.2.1. for OBM data transmitted to authorities’ servers, amend para. 4.3. to establish pass/fail criteria where a battery durability family passes if equal to or more than 90 per cent of monitor values are above the MPRi or DPRi, and insert new para. 4.4. requiring corrective measures in case of a fail decision.
