Meeting minutes from the 30th EVS-GTR session held in Seoul, 9-11 September 2025, covering transposition of GTR 20 to national regulations in Canada, China, the European Union, Japan, Korea, and the United States; related standardization committee activities; and drafting of GTR20 Amendment 1. Future work topics include maintaining EV battery safety during the in-use phase, field statistics on EV fires, expansion of thermal propagation test protection scope, quantitative criteria on smoke and toxic gases, bottom protection of REESS, and electric safety requirements updates. Co-sponsors intend to prepare a new mandate for phase 3 development.
