Proposal to amend paragraph 8.4 to allow Conformity of Production tests to use different acceleration values when environmental conditions or rider mass prevent achieving the reference acceleration (a_wot,ref ) with the same gear used during type approval testing.

3. The expert from IMMA introduced a proposal that aimed at avoiding different interpretations of the gear used during the Conformity of Production (CoP) testing (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRBP/2025/19). GRBP adopted the proposal and requested the secretariat to submit it for consideration and vote at the March 2026 sessions of WP.29 and the Administrative Committee (AC.1) as draft Supplement 13 to the 04 series of amendments, draft Supplement 5 to the 05 series of amendments and draft Supplement 1 to the 06 series of amendments to UN Regulation No. 41.
