The representative of Japan presented, on behalf of the six co-chairs of the IWG on ADS, the two ambassadors, and the GRVA Workshops on ADS leadership, the status report on the development of the new GTR on ADS. He referred to the presentation of informal document WP.29-196-10 under agenda item 2.3 and detailed the results of the recent meeting. He confirmed that the progress was according to schedule. He announced that the next IWG meeting would be held in Finland in July 2025 to focus on the incorporation of the DSSAD provisions and the administrative provisions developed by the GRVA Workshops on ADS into the draft text of the regulation.

125. AC.3 endorsed ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2025/86 and requested the secretariat to distribute WP.29-196-10/Add.1 with an official symbol at the next session.
