21. The representative of the US presented the status report of IWG on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) (WP.29-195-18). She recalled the activities of the Vehicular Communication Task Force (VCTF), ITC decision No. 29 at its eighty-seventh session and ongoing discussions on future activities. She requested to extend the mandate of IWG on ITS and its VCTF until March 2027. WP.29 approved this request.

22. She further introduced ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2025/2 with vehicular communications definition, types, value, uses, and considerations, produced in response to the request from WP.29 in March 2023 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/1171, paras. 26 and 27). WP.29 adopted this document.
