13. The expert from the Task Force on Substitutes and Retrofits (TF SR) reported on their activities that address high power light-emitting diode replacement (LEDr) light sources (“LED retrofits”) based on “intelligent equivalence” and bi-directional emission (GRE-89-06). Specifically, he introduced an alternative equivalence specification for the light source H11_LEDr (GRE-89-05). The experts from France, Germany, United Kingdom and EC commented on the TF SR documents. GRE decided to continue the discussion at its next session. |
