4. The expert from the Republic of Korea, Chair of the Informal Working Group on Deployable Pedestrian Protection Systems (IWG DPPS), introduced the final progress report of the Group (GRSP-74-11-Rev.1) and the final proposal for Amendment 3 to the UN GTR (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2023/31 and GRSP-74-22-Rev.1). 5. GRSP recommended the proposal of Amendment 3 to UN GTR No. 9 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2023/31) as amended by annex II of this report, and the final report of the IWG DPPS (GRSP-74-11-Rev.1) as reproduced in annex II to the report. The secretariat was requested to submit the proposal and the final report as draft Amendment 3 to UN GTR No. 9 for consideration and vote to the Executive Committee of the 1998 Agreement (AC.3) at its June 2024 session. |
