90. The expert from OICA introduced GRVA-13-24 proposing an update for the measurement of the Peak Braking Coefficient (PBC) in UN Regulation No. 140, by introducing a reference to the new American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard Reference Test Tyre F2493. The expert from Canada mentioned that the proposal was consistent with similar work done in other jurisdictions and supported it. 91. GRVA requested the secretariat to distribute GRVA-13-24 with an official symbol at the next GRVA session (in September 2022). |
