| DETA | Session 12 | 24 Jun 2011 |
DETA considers it necessary that, once DETA is opperational, the system gets an official legal status under the umbrella of WP.29. Such a legal status could be a committee with members, an elected chairperson and an elected secretary. A first draft for the Terms of Reference for such a committee is given in document DETA-12-06 while the first draft for the Rules of Procedures is reflected in DETA-12-07. The secretary will request the informal group on the International Whole Vehicle Type Approval (IWVTA) to create a official legal status for DETA in the next version of the 1958 Agreement. |
