17. The Secretary of the informal group on Heavy Duty Hybrids (HDH) reported on the good progress made by the informal group at its fifth and sixth meetings (GRPE-62-07). He presented the roadmap including the project planning and the research program for developing new provisions for HDH (GRPE-62-08). GRPE noted the work progress and endorsed the project planning and the research programme.

18. GRPE also noted that the informal group on HDH would meet again in Vienna from 12 to 14 October 2011. It was agreed that the group should also meet in conjunction with the next session of GRPE in January 2012.
