Recalling the discussion of the previous session of GRPE, the expert from EC introduced ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRPE/2011/11, as amended by GRPE-62-02, proposing the new 03 series of amendments to Regulation No. 96. He explained that this proposal aimed at aligning the text of the Regulation with stages IIIB and IV of the corresponding EU directive and including the harmonized test procedure as defined in GTR No. 11. He added that in Annex 3 the figure of model A needed to be corrected with respect to the additional letter “F”.

27. GRPE adopted ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRPE/2011/11 as amended by GRPE-62-02-Rev.1, and requested the secretariat to submit it to WP.29 and AC.1, for consideration at their November 2011 sessions, as draft 03 series of amendments to Regulation No. 96.
