110. The representative of the United States of America informed AC.3 about the outcome of the last meeting of the informal group on harmonization of side impact dummies, held in Washington D.C. on 8 June 2011. Concerning the harmonization activity of the 50th percentile dummy, she stated that the group was finalizing the harmonization work of the thorax deflection criteria and of the three dimensional measurement of the thorax. She added that this last activity was also in progress for the 5th percentile female dummy. She underlined that the current activities of the informal group were conducted closely to those of the PSI informal group. AC.3 adopted the second progress report of the informal group (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2011/88). |
