Presentation in favor of better defining the coastdown wind speed validation requirements of the current GTR:

• The cross wind requirements do not specify whether it should be applied to an average or peak measurement
• The procedure for calculating an average wind value is not adequately defined
• For on-board anemometry, the peak wind measurement is not specified with any filtering (only single point measurement) which may result in unnecessary test voids.
