Protection of motor vehicles against unauthorized use: Proposal for a new UN Regulation

Proposal to establish a new UN Regulation dedicated to the approval of the fitting of devices against unauthorized use, and of vehicles equipped with devices against unauthorized use, pursuant to splitting UN R116 into three separate regulations.
This proposal (WP.29/2021/48) was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-nine Contracting Parties to the 1958 Agreement were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-eight voted in favor with zero against and one abstaining.
