Provisional agenda for the 52nd session of the IWVTA Informal Group scheduled for November 12, 2026 in Paris. The session will address election of a new Chair, adoption of the agenda and 51st session report, highlights from the 199th WP.29 session, amendments to UN R0 series, contradiction between transitional provisions in UN R22 and Revision 3 of the 1958 Agreement, proposed amendments to Guidelines on Transitional Provisions, IWVTA awareness and promotion, extension of mandates, and DETA scheme implementation.
The document outlines the process for developing UN R40.03. It specifies that EPPR7302 (IMMA) draft proposal for UN R40.03 should serve as the basis for discussions and drafting of regulatory texts and provisions. Comments should be submitted in advance, preferably one week before the meeting. Regulatory texts and provisions will be discussed and drafted based on comments and proposals submitted before or during the meeting.
Draft agenda for the first session of the Task Force on the 03 series of amendments to UN R40, scheduled for 9 October 2026. The session will include welcome remarks, introduction of participants, adoption of the draft agenda, and introduction of the Task Force establishment proposal. IMMA will present an overview of the 02 series of amendments based on UN GTR No. 2. The Task Force Co-Chairs will introduce a proposal on conducting discussions on the 03 series, addressing the regulation progressively with Co-Chairs defining specific sections for analysis at each meeting. The basis for discussions is the draft R40.03 submitted by IMMA. Future Task Force sessions are scheduled before EPPR sessions in November 2026, January 2027, February 2027, and June 2027.
