The GRSG-TF-AVRS held an online meeting to review open items for submission to GRSG-131. Decisions included removing a proposal for R39, amending R43 regarding windscreen definitions, adopting amendments to R46, R151, R159, R166, R167.00, and R167.01, and adopting changes to R61, R73.01, and R73.02. No further meetings were scheduled before GRSG-131 in April 2026. OICA, UK, and France volunteered to present documents at the session.
Proposal to establish UN Regulation on Category Y vehicle crash safety covering frontal, rear-end, and lateral collision protection. The regulation specifies requirements for fuel system integrity, electrical shock protection, and crash compatibility for vehicles without occupants.
