| UN R144 Accident Emergency Call Systems | Accident Emergency Call Systems | Uniform provisions concerning the approval of emergency call devices and motor vehicles with regard to the installation of these devices. In support of various national and regional projects such as eCall in the European Union and ERA Glonass across the Eurasian Customs Union, UN R144 provides test procedures and performance requirements for automatic emergency call systems and devices, including "minimum data sets" for transmission to emergency services. The aim is to ensure that AECS and AECD function correctly, including following a collision. The test procedures include evaluation via UN R94 frontal impact tests.
