Proposal improve consistency in the bedding/burnishing procedure and to align the Communication Form with that of other UN Regulations and, pursuant to changing the application of the Unique Identifier (UI) under the 1958 Agreement, to the prohibition on use of the UI for replacement brake components under UN R90 due to the decision to change the default application of the UI to prohibited unless specified.

This proposal (WP.29/2025/140), as amended by para. 70 (b), was adopted by the World Forum. Thirty-seven Contracting Parties out of the 50 applying UN R90 were present for the vote by AC.1. Thirty-seven voted in favor with zero against and zero abstaining.
